Tim O’Malley, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. O’Malley’s executive career in start-up and global corporate companies encompasses the development of medical device systems in diabetes, cardiology and neurology. He served as VP of Business/Venture Development for Tronics Medtech Inc., headed marketing for Mayo Collaborative Services and was European General Manager for Abiomed. Mr. O’Malley was Founder/CEO of Diva Medical Systems B.V., the first diabetes patient telemedicine system. He directed the European launch of Eli Lilly’s insulin pump and managed international business development for Cardiac Pacemaker Inc. Tim received his MBA in Finance from DePaul University and B.A. from American University.
Mel Vallero, M.D., Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Vallero is a board certified emergency medicine physician for Kaiser Permanente Hospitals in Sacramento California and an adjunct professor for the UC Davis Medical Center. Dr. Vallero developed the Innova system and is currently expanding the technical platform and IP portfolio. He holds a B.S. in Molecular Genetics from the University of California at Berkeley and received his M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin later specializing in emergency medicine at the University of Chicago.
Dan Mooradian, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer
Formerly VP of R&D at Synovis Life Sciences, recently acquired by Baxter Healthcare, Dr. Mooradian has led global medical device projects from concept to launch for both large firms and start-ups. Previously he was the Director of Preclinical Sciences and R&D Center at Boston Scientific, VP of R&D at Questar Medical, Inc., a diabetes start-up firm, and Assistant Professor, Departments of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota where he also was a founding member of the Biomedical Engineering Center. Dr. Mooradian received his doctorate in Experimental Pathology from Wayne State University.
